Classic Sweaters = Preppy Love

One of my favourite things about home:

My mom's clothes!

Some of her sweaters/cable knits are just pretty epic, and I love them.
I don't really get to "steal" her clothes per se, but I am allowed to wear them as long as I give them back to her.

How great is this logo/crest thing? 

This is one of my mother's old (ish?) Ralph Lauren Cable knits.

I didn't bring enough shirts, so I had to borrow something from my mother and she gave me this. 

Ahh how did I not know that this existed? haha. 

I'm so excited to go through my mother's old old clothes once I visit my grandparents over winter break!

I've been swamped with work for the past couple of months, but I'm back!

Anyways, I know it's a tad late, but I am in love with the Vickers Bow Collection from Kiel James Patrick.

I love the Twiggy, especially since I am such a sucker for pink and navy. 

The concept of bows as a bracelet is something that isn't novel for me- I used to wear bows around my wrists, so the bracelet is just so perfect. Love, love, love!

Classic Fall

Happy Fall, Everyone! 

My campus is full of fall right now! Everywhere I look, there is at least some fall foliage, and I love it. 

Today, the weather was just perfect: crisp, sunny, and in the mid fifties.

Now, that's the exact weather that it should be in a New England fall :) 

Perfect for some loafers, jeans, pull overs, and a boatneck shirt ; P

They say "Scotty Studs" but I have a Westy and she looks just like it. 

(Westies are the white version of Scotties)

They'd be such an adorable addition to the fall outfit!  

Classically Clutch with Poketo

I am obsessed with the idea of clutches.

The thing is, I'm too scared to not be able to pull them off, so I've never gotten one. Sometimes I'm afraid that I'm not chic enough. 

However, my fear of clutches don't really stop me from drooling over them, hour after hour. 

I think they're adorable and I like to invision a chic-er version of me walking around in a cute dress carrying clutches, and more specifically, this one from Poketo, has been making me DROOL all day today. 

I've always loved the idea of coral and black together, even though my friends in middle school always told me that "[the combination] was too goth" because coral was close to pink, and apparently according to my middle school friends, pink and black meant you were a goth! And apparently being goth is a bad thing (my belief is: to each her own!)? Ah well, don't we all reminisce back to our younglin' days? 

Anyways, I love the polka dot and the coral and black look. Also the buttons- how cute are they?

Classicly Vested

As we dive straight into fall, I have the crisp New England air on my mind.
I am oh so very excited for apple cider, fall foliage, hot chocolate, pumpkins, quilts, plaid, and more to come!
With fall in mind, I'm looking for... a vest!
Believe it or not, I don't own a puffer vest because I stopped wearing them when I started feeling awkward wearing vests in grade school. But now, I've been wanting one for a while. ...and it's time.

Land's End Women's Regular Down Vest

I love this vivid red of the Land's End vest! It's so rich and fall looking. Also, I have black hair so I wouldn't want anything too dark but this garnet colour is beautiful. I like that it looks very casual and easy to wear.

J.Crew Excursion Vest

Not sure if there are any words necessary, haha.
I love that the zipper goes both up and down, although I am unsure on whether or not I would ever utilize it, ahaha. It's just the whole quilted look which makes it feel more like fall.

Literally perfection from the colour to the pockets to the silhouettes. 

Vineyard Vines Old Port Puffer Vest

The vibrant pink will make any cold fall day feel instantly happier and warmer. 

Who wouldn't want a cute, happy looking vest in their wardrobe? 

It's a very classic vest in a great colour. 

Ralph Lauren Plaid Quilted Vest

I love this vest because of its neck area and the quilted plaid look! 

I feel like a lot of vests are very "staple like" and don't have a variety, but this one just stands out but without being a sore thumb. Love it!

Currently Loving: Jack Rogers Mini Slouchy Tote

I love my Black Longchamp Le Pliage bag. But it's gone through so much.

I carry a lot of stuff, and I carry them often. I also have a bad habit of slamming my bag into doors that shut behind me. Yeah. 

I haven't really been looking to get a new bag because I love my longchamp and I have recently started to use backpacks again (SO much easier to carry stuff around in!), but I found this:

Jack Rogers Mini Slouchy Tote

The Jack Rogers Mini Slouchy Tote is just... perfect. 

Definitely not big enough for school books and laptops and such, but definitely perfect for going on a casual errand or out to the city for some chic shopping! 

I love the fun colour of the turquoise as well! 

I am also obsessed with Jack Rogers and their high quality products. Surprisingly, my favourite items from Jack Rogers are my Slim Ballet Flats (Platinum). I feel like everyone just loves their navajos, but I think their flats are to die for!

Anyone else a huge Jack Rogers fan? :)
